"I'd like to start out by saying that I was a State Farm customer for 30 years, up until this past experience. I'm a really loyal person; once I find a brand that I think suits my needs, I stick with them. This goes for clothing, shoes, airlines, insurance. At this point in time, I could not be any more disgusted with the business practices utilized by Alison Fourtner State Farm. This agency erroneously claimed that I was at fault for being rear ended on the freeway due to a slow down. This wasn't a slam on my brakes situation, this was a slow down, and I was hit, causing minor damage, due to negligence of the driver behind me. This was coded as 51% or greater driver error, and I paid a penalty for YEARS. I recently had a situation where my vehicle was totaled, and the insurance company decided to drop me. They listed the rear-ending as one of the reasons for me being dropped, then they offered me a concession by "allowing" me to sign up for insurance at nearly a 100% increase. I inquired as to how me getting rear ended could be a factor in me getting dropped, and the guy I spoke with seemed very confused/concerned. He said I should never have been at fault, and that they must have coded the accident wrong. Long story short, State Farm admits they made a mistake, still dropped me from their policy, has come up with a dollar amount that they over charged me, refuses to show me how they came up with that amount, and has failed to provide me with a check for OVER FOUR MONTHS! Every time I call, they give me the run around, saying underwriting is still reviewing the case , and they have no estimation of when they can get me a check. Seems quite negligent on their part, with the worst part being had I not asked the right questions, they would have never seen the error. Looks pretty criminal and ripe for a class action lawsuit to me! As for my auto insurance, I've left State Farm and signed up with Geico, who is providing the exact same coverages for less than the amount that I was being charged before the total early this year."

We do not handle claims within my agency, as we are not licensed adjusters, however, my office actively followed up with our claims' department to get that overturned for you and has continuously been keeping you in the loop. Unfortunately my office does not have any control on refunds or the timing of refunds because that is issued by Corporate and each agency is independently owned but my office has also followed up regularly on your behalf to try to get this expedited. Again, I apologize about any frustration this has caused you but I can assure you that my office has been doing everything within our power to get everything resolved ASAP."

"These is the worst place insurance i am a costumer ,the agents dont know your job . I called yesterday and they said you dont have insurance here , more later send a message and said you have insurance ,3 hours more later i talk with 4 agent and waited all day for the superviser and never got response ,they remove any message what they send for disscount me my ,there is not etic here . Sara said what see made 10 porcent discount and was the 3 porcent ,i gonna moved to these office ,and the costumer service is suck ,the supervicer was scriming and said dont call more ,i only asked for the disscount ,you dont pay me ,and i paid 293 dolars these not right ,the last costumer service mexican girl was rude ,poor and end the call ,i only asked for disscount ,i said the supervicer and she said i cant do anything here ,i was waiting 1 hour and dont had responce."

"Roberto, I’m confused as to why you’ve left this review and said my office has provided bad customer service, as my office has spoken with you several times and helped you in person as well. You originally bound your policy online in April then came into my office upset on May 2nd when you met with Colton. You said the policy should’ve been assigned to my office since it was closer so the transfer request was submitted. You then called my office upset on May 6th and spoke with Esmeralda advising the name wasn’t submitted properly. She explained that we had no control over how the name was submitted since you bound online and made you aware that she would have to submit a request to underwriting, which takes several weeks before it will be processed by our underwriting department since they work the items as they are received in a queue. You have since filed a claim that our claim department handled in less than a few days. Norma and Victoria have emailed and texted you multiple times over your defensive driving certificate that we need in order to keep that discount but we have not received that documentation, nor have you responded to any of our emails or texts. Colton has reached out to you to follow up on coverage changes as well that both of you discussed when he met with you on May 2nd but he hasn’t received any communication from you either. The name change was processed a while ago (as you requested) so I’m perplexed as to why you got upset with Sara in my office today. My office manager just called you to follow-up with you and left a voicemail. Please call my office back to speak with Gary or Claire so we can resolve. Thank you, Alison Fourtner "

"State Farm has a killer agent by the name of Claire. I've been experiencing issues with my rental company incorrectly charging for rental insurance. Claire offered to contact the company, she participated in conference call, sent proof of payment. She got them to remove the charges. She then explained my payment schedule to mitigate any future problems. You truly have an asset in Claire!!!"
